"Molly has an incredible, unique talent of capturing the essence of someone's business in the graphic designs she creates. In working with Molly, she attentively listened to the vision and mission of my business and was able to transform my words into a design that embodied everything I wanted my business to convey. Her professionalism coupled with the joy she brought into the process makes her an ideal graphic designer to work with. Molly clearly communicated updates and feedback while also sharing her expertise. I appreciated her patience in the process and always brought fruitful suggestions and felt we were in this together.
Molly carefully crafted each design and paid attention to every single detail from color, style, depth and more as she worked through it iteratively inputting her artistic talent and listened to thoughts I had as well - she beautifully combined both. I felt like my business came to life when we got to our final design and am beyond thankful for Molly's artistic talent and would highly recommend Molly in all design needs."

My Approach
-
Every project starts with an idea. Whether that's talking about personal branding, inspiration with a freelance client, reading through a new project brief, or sifting through a dense and complicated report, I always start with discussion and ideation. I'll brainstorm, open a new design file and start playing with text, or even draw by hand. Coming up with lots of initial ideas is always a good way of finding creative solutions.
-
In this stage of the process, I begin delving deeper into my initial ideas. Drafting lots of illustrations or working with a variety of layouts. Feeling out these different avenues is a good way to find out what works well and what doesn't work as well.
-
From here, I will show my work to my client or project lead. This is where I either make careful, incremental edits or go back to the drawing board. Understanding the needs of my clients helps inform my decisions. Feedback is a continues part of my design process. Iām not afraid to ask for help and critique when necessary.
-
Once the design has been fully reviewed and edited, I check that the product is strong, well produced, and conveys all of the important information present as accurately and succinctly as possible.
